The Tale of The Apprentice, the toilets and the underfloor heating

I am sure by now you will have seen and heard that our restaurant in Covent Garden was used on The Apprentice last night by the girls' team where they filmed their TV ad for Japanese Jeans. Looking back to the filming (which was about 5 months ago) it was a strange day, as they really were as un-organised as they looked last night. Somehow they roped me into into being an extra and if you look hard enough you will see in the background shots in the bar (where the glow of the Onyx bring the screen to life) me sat in a suit! Surely not the target audeinece! Still it's created a great buzz on social media for us and bookings this weekend are well up. So unlike Natalie, who got fired last night, we seem to have had far more good fortune. Especially with Lord Sugar calling our toilets Posh!

On to toilets - we are planning something special in Camden -  LED urinals! I know....... but they really are going to be a great talking point.

On the build - amazing work is being done and as you can see on the pictures the underfloor heating and support struts for the projectors are in. Early next week the screed floor gets laid and then an army of tilers and other trades desend on the building. More pics and news to come next week.

I'm off for a glass of sake and a chat about which PR company to appoint! Oh the life...................................... Have a great weekend!
