Magic Masterclass - Learn the Art of Illusion

Prepare to unlock the inner secrets of the art of magic, with a Magic Masterclass, paired with an Interactive Pan-Asian Dinner & a Drink at inamo Covent Garden.

An exciting and rare opportunity, you’ll be taught by John Bulleid, an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle, one of only 258 members with that title worldwide. He designs illusions for West End shows including ‘Doctor Who; Time Fracture’ and ‘The Worst Witch’ (winner of the Olivier for Best Family Show 2020). Your masterclass will see John demonstrate some great close-up magic as you learn how to mystify your friends and family and develop fascinating memory techniques, whilst also discussing how magicians problem solve to overcome challenges.

The magic of the evening doesn’t stop there.  Enjoy a pan-Asian feast before or after your class in our restaurant. You’ll choose four dishes from a selection of 30 from a menu brimming with exquisite Asian flavours (half of which are suitable for vegetarians). Your fantastic food will be served with either a glass of house white or red wine, a beer or a soft drink.

Each class is held at inamo Covent Garden, 11 - 14 Hanover Place, WC2E 9JP - starting promptly at 5.30pm for class 1, then 7.15pm for class 2, and 9pm for class 3. Guests can dine before or after their class, and will be allocated 1 & 1/2 hours for their meal. Classes will be scheduled periodically according to demand. Drinks or additional dishes purchased with your meal will be payable at time of dining.

In the event that a booking is not honoured or cancelled with less than 48 hours notice, your voucher will not be compensated. If 48 hours of notice is given, we will reschedule your booking once, and no further cancellations will be considered thereafter.

Since receiving his first 'Paul Daniels' set when he was seven, our resident magician John has been challenged and fascinated by magic. His long hours of practice have finally been rewarded by entry to the Magic Circle where he is an Associate of The Inner Magic Circle, one of only 258 members worldwide. Entry is restricted both by numbers and by skill level. Potential members are examined by their peers and membership is the ultimate accolade for any magician. His relaxed style, gift of the gab and ability to hold an audience of any size combine as he creates modern magic always focusing on leaving his audience amazed and entertained.
