Food development and doors!

Just heard the news that the 1st of the ornate internal doors for Camden are being cut in our main contractor’s workshop. See the picture of what will become the door from the ground floor restaurant through to the kitchen. Fantastic design and the triangles will all be filled with copper to give that wonderful Asian feel.

These builders are really moving at pace and looks like an opening of late November is very much on the cards.

Great session with the senior team looking at lunch menus today as we look to bring a new lunch menu to Inamo Camden only. Looking at affordable but great tasting bento boxes which are designed to be eaten in the garden area or taken to people’s desks.

Good thoughts on a Low GI bento box, meat and fish options and the use of brown rice for both sushi and hot dishes, that will give a great everyday option to the local residents and office crowd around Mornington Crescent – the way they tasted I think the Inamo Head Office team might be in there for lunch every day too.

Tomorrow is site meeting day – a chance to understand where the build is in terms of timings and costings. Every week all contractors, our Quantity Surveyor and I meet to share news and keep the project on track. More to follow on this tomorrow.
